On May 19, the National Legal Internet Portal published Decree No. 354 of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus dated May 17, 2024, which amends Decree No. 247 of the Council of Ministers dated April 22, 2022 (“On the Movement of Vehicles”).
The main changes affect the list of road border crossing points and their designated areas for cargo operations, transshipment, and vehicle refueling (if necessary).
Due to the closure of border crossings on the Lithuania route, the list of designated transshipment areas corresponding to the “Benyakonys” and “Kamenniy Log” crossings has been expanded.
– For traffic from “Benyakonys,” the transshipment area at the “Bruzgi TLC Customs Clearance Point” has been added.
– For traffic from “Kamenniy Log,” vehicles may now be directed to the temporary storage warehouse at the Kotlovka road crossing point.
At the same time, the “Kotlovka Temporary Customs Control Zone No. ВЗ16401/0003007” has been removed from the list of designated areas.
Fuel station No. 9 of Belorusneft-Grodnooblnefteprodukt at the 289 km mark (left side) of highway M-6/E 28 in Grodno District has also been removed from the list.
The Council of Ministers retains the authority to specify other cases in which the prohibition on vehicle movement introduced by Decree No. 247 of April 22, 2022, will not apply.
